I overheard someone say “I’m just not that creative”. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard that and how many times that statement has made me cringe. That statement to me is like someone scratching a fork on a chalkboard. It is just not true no matter who says it.

You might have heard that man has the ability to either create or destroy. I would say that it is our ability to create or create a state of destruction. Even with the statement “I am not creative” you are creating. You are creating a destructive mindset that limits like a cage. You are also creating a lie to someone else that you are not creative.

Since the beginning of time, since God’s first breath until he breaths it all back in again, we are by our very nature creative beings. We all have a mind, body, mouth, hands, and feet. All of which are creative instruments.

You can use your mind and think about something in a new way.

You can use your body to dance if you want to.

You can use your mouth as a very powerful tool. It can create a filter over someones eyes so beauty can be made ugly and ugly can be made beautiful just with the power of words.

You can use your hands to make a painting, a pot, or an excellent meal.

You can use your feet to create a new trail.

All of these creative tools used together can create things so amazing that they haven’t been imagined yet. Everything that will be made has not been made yet. Something new will be made tommorow. Will you make it?

If you breath and think, you are creative. Creativity is so ingrained in our spirits that we create by accident even without thinking about it. It is quite a responsibility we have. Don’t deny your responsibility by saying you are not creative.
