There was a time where I said to myself “wouldn’t it be great to live in a nice little place in Hayes-Barton”. For those of you that don’t know, Hayes-Barton is a lovely section of Raleigh surrounding Five-points. This area has beautiful tree lined streets with beautiful homes and several excellent restaurants. So here I am, writing this blog from my new apartment in Hayes-Barton. Is this the fulfillment of a dream? No,.. but it’s a nice start.
Let me share my dream with you. I am an artist and I plan on getting better at my craft. I plan to be a portrait and figurative artist. I will be studying with the D. Jeffrey Mims in Southern Pines, NC. I am in the process of selling my house in Raleigh and I have a couple more things to take care of so I should be heading down that way at the beginning of the year.
